Filipe has lots of friends. Sam isn’t entirely sure why. Sometimes it’s hard to keep them straight, so here’s a list.
Fake Filipe
When Filipe went missing, Sam and Claire hunted everywhere for the beloved dinosaur. Along the way they met Fake Filipe. Despite their insistence to him that he was not the real Filipe, Fake Filipe (lovingly known as FF) stuck around anyways. He’s not the smartest dinosaur Sam has ever met. In fact, she’s pretty sure he’s lacking most brain function. But he means well and is endlessly excited. The only word he knows is “raaaa”
Claire
Sam’s friend Claire loves to accompany Filipe’s adventures. She provides extra hands for posing, pockets for hiding and faces for snuggling. Filipe also once asked Claire to be his Valentine.
Meredith
Meredith is Filipe’s first love. She’s also a sippy cup. Really, that’s it. She’s actually inanimate.
Timothy The Terrified Tiger
Filipe found Timothy and insisted he be taken home. Timothy is terrified of everything. Living with Filipe was not the best choice for him.
Franklin/Wilhemina
Sam actually took two dinosaurs that night in December. Franklin was given to her friend Fran to look over. It turns out Franklin suffered from a split personality disorder and sometimes his mischievous minx side Wilhemina appears. She is very jealous of Filipe’s tumblr fame. She also loves bows. Franklin has no idea.
Drew
Sam’s brother Drew draws comics. Filipe thinks he’s better at it.
Steggs
Steggs has been living with Sam for a few years now. He is one of the comfiest dinosaurs she has ever met. He is also the hungriest. Steggs is known to constantly be trying to eat whatever is nearby.
Stanley
Stanley and Steggs spend most of their time together. Stanley, a recent addition in January, rivals Steggs for comfiest dinosaur ever. Stanley has the unique ability to suffocate Filipe with coziness. Thus far it is the only known cure to Filipe’s excitement.
Seemore
Filipe often does not understand the squishiness of his friend Seemore or the risk of popping him. Seemore is often subjected to Filipe’s physical bullying, but knows when it’s best to roll away. He’s one of the smartest of Filipe’s friends and often does not take Filipe at his word.
Shirley
Shirley is Filipe’s most recent love. She’s a ping pong ball. While he was gone Dennis made moves she did nothing to stop. It’s unclear how she feels about anything. Definitely the most agreeable ping pong ball around.
Filipe’s Mail Order Minions
For Sam’s birthday, Filipe ordered himself some minions. They stick together pretty well.
Big Ed
Big Ed doesn’t say much. However, he’s a very convenient carrying case.
Alvin
Alvin is a stegosaurus. We recently learned he can’t dance.
Beethoven
Beethoven has no musical abilities. Or stability. He requires piggyback rides at all times.
Chad
Chad is a Triceratops. He was once put in charge of Filipe’s security but things didn’t go well.
Dennis
No one is sure how, but Dennis had the sweet moves to grab Shirley’s love and affection. Filipe still hasn’t realized. Sneaky sneaky.
Elle
Elle’s is a quiet little lady. She keeps to herself. Sam thinks she’s smarter than most of the minions.
Francis
This is Francis. That’s all.
